Songs for Newland
As part of Assemble Fest during Hull’s year as City of Culture, we were commissioned to work with the community of Newland Avenue to create two songs about the rapid changes history has seen, and is still seeing, on their street. The songs were performed as part of a huge-scale outdoor festival of performance and community.
